Introduction to Organic Tales #1
Back in the Mid-Seventies when Bill and I were drawing just about everyday after school we thought it would be fun to start our own comic with our very own character. I know that we borrowed some things from then current superheroes but we also tried to make him different and above all else fun. I remember laughing a lot while writing and drawing Beanman. I also remember that it was a lot of work but that when we finished the first issue how happy and proud we were. Bill had to push me many times to draw panels that I felt were difficult or boring. Looking at it today makes me smile and laugh and wish that I had the free time today that I had then.
